As we approach 12 months an audit has been done on all active accounts. This has been spurred on in part by the script having an attack of the "too many upgrades" syndrome.

When there is a script error and an account receives too many upgrades - their referral also receives too much in the way of fees (ie a ref fee for each additional/incorrect upgrade)

We've just gone through ALL accounts - going back to September and audited them for incorrect upgrades and ref fees. In all cases the upgrades and ref fees that you received incorrectly have been removed.

This will mean that some of you will have a negative balance - if you withdrew your account balance thinking it was correct - only to find it now isn't - then there is not much that can be done. The funds were incorrectly credited to you - it was time to make that right.

I will point out that this audit has been done with the accounts still online and with payouts still going out - there was no conceivable reason to pull the site offline to do this - after all it is historical data.

FYI if a ref fee comes in more than once for the same amount for the same person in the same day then it is likely that there is an error. I would expect you might like to get hold of your referral and ask them if there is a problem. In all cases where an account is credited in error - the additional funds will be removed. Very simple and very effective.

A further point on referral fees. As of the end of the month I am going to be removing the HISTORY of your ref fees from September backwards. Basically this is just data that is clogging up the database. If you want to make copies for your own records thats fine - thats why the couple of days warning. Ref fees that you received from 1 September 2006 will stay - the rest will be removed.
